Competitive Dance

Acro, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap

• Hair should be pulled up neatly away from the face
• Attire:
  • Dance appropriate tops & bottoms
• Shoes:
  • Acro: Bare feet or dance socks
  • Contemporary: Half-sole/ turners or dance socks
  • Hip Hop: Sneakers with a non-marking sole
  • Jazz:
    • Stepping Up 1 & 2, Shooting Stars, Rising Stars, Petites, Juniors: Tan jazz shoes
    • Teens, Seniors: Tan Grecian sandal jazz shoes
  • Lyrical: Half-sole/ turners
  • Tap:
    • Stepping Up 1 & 2, Shooting Stars: Tan buckle tap shoes
    • Rising Stars, Petites, Juniors, Teens, Seniors: Black lace up Capezio tap shoes

Ballet

• Black leotard (bodysuit)
• Pink convertible tights
• Pink leather/ leather-like ballet slippers (no satin or foam slippers)
• Hair should be pulled up and secured in a bun
• Ballet skirts & sweaters are optional
